Calhoun Golf Car Association has been formed in response to the Calhoun Sheriffs Dept interpretation of the current use of Golf Cars in unincorporated areas. We believe the best way to address this situation is by changing Texas Law in the next legislative session. The CGCA is working on getting the law changed and we need to show support to our elected officials in Austin that golf cars safely driven by responsible citizens is good for Texas and Calhoun County.
**MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT**
- Calhoun County Commissioners Court goes on record by requesting legislation be submitted next session of Texas Legislature giving Calhoun County the authority to make legal golf car operation throughout the entire county."
